My 2 year old grandson enjoys playing with this but stays on the first page. As he gets older I hope he will venture further to explore the other pages. All in his time.
it has been bent, dropped and shoved into the pram basket and still looks fine
the animals are familiar enough that my toddler actually knows what to do
it gives my son something focused to do without expecting him to sit forever
no music, no batteries and no mess, which I really appreciate
she gets proud when everything is back in the right spot
I packed it for a doctor visit and it stopped the usual waiting room meltdown
we do cow, pig and sheep noises while she matches the pieces
the pieces feel thicker than cheap busy books and have handled plenty of pulling
I expected it to be ignored after one day, but it still comes out most afternoons
it kept my toddler busy long enough for me to drink my coffee warm
my son goes straight to the cow and sheep every time before doing anything else
my daughter is tired after daycare, but she will still sit and do a few farm pages quietly
it is one of those quiet toys that actually gets used outside the house
simple, sturdy and genuinely handy for keeping my toddler busy
she is matching animals and colours without it feeling like a lesson
cute, educational and not another noisy plastic toy
the book has already survived being bent, dropped and carried around
I can sit nearby and she manages most of it herself
she works through a few pages longer than I expected for her age
I throw it in the pram basket and pull it out when we need a distraction
we say the animal names and sounds together while she plays
the farm animals are sweet and the activities are actually useful
it keeps him busy without noise, screens or mess
anything with a tractor gets his full attention straight away
it has been used enough already that I do not feel like it was wasted
they feel thicker than I expected and easy for little fingers to grab
the activities are simple enough for her to try on her own
we use it as a calm activity when I do not want anything loud or exciting
it feels like play, but he is practising matching and animal names
I brought it for lunch and it kept my daughter settled at the table
the pages are colourful but not so crowded that my toddler gets overwhelmed
he claps when he finishes a page by himself
pulling, placing and matching the pieces keeps her little hands working
