Refund policy

1. Australian Consumer Law Notice

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Under the ACL, consumers are entitled to certain guarantees in relation to goods and services. These include that products are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description.

Where a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

2. Change of Mind Returns (Voluntary Policy)

In addition to your rights under the ACL, Little Australian offers a voluntary 30-day change of mind return policy.

You may return items within 30 days of receiving your order, provided that:

  • The item is unused, unworn, and in original condition
  • All original packaging, tags, and accessories are included
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Return Process

You must clearly state your intention to return the goods (e.g. by email).

Return Shipping

  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty or not as described
  • Items must be returned within 14 days after notifying us

Refunds (Change of Mind)

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless required under the ACL

3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items (ACL Rights)

If your item:

  • is faulty or defective
  • is not of acceptable quality
  • does not match the description
  • is not fit for its intended purpose

you are entitled to remedies under the ACL.

Depending on the issue, you may be entitled to:

  • a repair,
  • a replacement, or
  • a refund

For major failures, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement.

We will also cover reasonable return shipping costs for faulty or incorrect items.


4. Exclusions

Change of mind returns are not accepted for:

  • customised or personalised items
  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to hygiene reasons, if opened

These exclusions do not apply where your rights under the ACL apply.


5. Condition of Returned Goods

You may be liable for any reduction in value of goods resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess them.
