My preschooler got the most out of it because she loves pretend shops
Does the job
It felt more like an activity than just another thing to add to the toy basket
My daughter kept showing everyone the signs she had drawn herself
The colouring was absolutely chaotic, but the kids were so proud of it
I helped them set it up and then they took over the decorating completely
Decent quality
We used play coins and my daughter got very serious about giving change
It is a good option when outside play is not happening
She did not colour much, but she loved standing there handing out pretend cones
Simple but engaging
We used it on a rainy weekend and it made the lounge feel like a little play shop
This would be fun to bring out at a small birthday or playdate
It was busy and silly, but still much calmer than them running around the house
They had to take turns being the customer and the shopkeeper, which actually worked better than expected
Happy kids
Once it was set up, the kids knew exactly what to do with it
Ours became more of a café than an ice cream shop, but the kids did not care
It looked sweet out of the box, but it looked much better once the kids added their own colours
Fine
My son kept yelling “ice cream for sale” down the hallway
It felt more engaging than just handing them a colouring book
She stood inside taking orders from Nan and Pop like she was running a real café
We used washable markers and the kids had heaps of fun decorating it
They were talking non-stop about flavours, money and who was next in line
Cute little activity
I would not let them lean on it or climb through it, but for pretend play it is lovely
When the cousins came over, they all lined up like real customers at the little shop
Decent buy
The kids added their names, messy drawings and their own ice cream flavours all over it
This was exactly the kind of activity we needed when the kids were bored by lunch time
My daughter kept asking everyone what flavour they wanted and pretending to scoop it out
Happy with it
Make sure you have a spot for it because it takes up more room once they start playing around it
It looked adorable in the corner once the kids had coloured it in
