As a transplanted Canadian now living in Australia, I purchased the Wooden Catapult Game as it was similar to tabletop ice hockey game. I bought it to play it with our Australian granddaughter, who just tuned eight years old. She was most intrigued when she set eyes on it and was eager to try it out. Sadly for me, it took the eight-year-old Australian no time at all to master the game and she delighted in embarrassing me over several games in very quick succession. My bruised ego aside, it proved to be a great purchase. The ONLY caveat I have is that it is of a very light construction, the wooden based being a very thin three-layer plywood which was damaged/crunched during shipping. I shall find a sheet of heavier stuff to mount it on to ensure it lasts for many more tournaments... some of which, in time, I might be allowed to win.
